Frame Moulding
We have a selection of 6 mouldings for framing, available in various widths - we will use the appropriate size depending on the size of print ordered.
Moulding colour to choose from is:-
- Black
- White
- Light Wood
- Dark Wood
- Gold
- Silver
Our most popular moulding colour is Silver. In our experience a silver frame tones in with many colours in the home so, if you are buying as a gift or are unsure about a frame moulding colour - silver could be the right choice for you.
Mount Width
We mount using a double thick Museum Quality Ph neutral Conservation Mountboard in an off white colour. The mount board has a slightly textured look and feel. The board is 2.4mm thick and then we add a 1.2mm backing board.
The border width of the mount around the image is usually between 45mm and 105mm depending on size of print ordered.
Limited & Open Edition Mounted Giclée Prints
Our 
Limited Edition Prints are Double Mounted and there is a space between the edge of the mount and the image where the artist has numbered and signed the print. The title of the print will be shown here too.
Open Edition Prints are Single Mounted. The mount is usually right up to the edge of the print as shown opposite.
If you don't have your giclée print framed and buy a Mounted print only, it will be mounted and then wrapped in protective cello.
Small Mounted Cards
We mount our small mounted prints and cards with the same high quality mount board and backing board as our giclée prints.
Delivery
We use a tracked service to send out our framed prints and the same trackable service as well as Royal Mail to send out mounted prints - the shipping service is dependant on the size of the mounted print.
Framed prints are shipped in custom boxes made with polystyrene edges and heavy duty board. Our mounted prints are sent out sandwiched between two pieces of corrugated heavy duty board to keep them flat in transit.
