These wooden notebooks feature a solid oak cover and leather spine. The high quality finish of the wood is made by hand planing and sanding, then oiling the covers with Danish oil and finishing with beeswax polish.
The wood for these books came from Inzievar Estate, Fife. The timber supply is from sustainable and managed woodland within a fifty mile radius.
The inner pages for the books are a 130gsm in weight and the paper has a 20% cotton content, which gives a smooth quality to the touch and is suitable for drawing or writing. The paper is stitched into the books with linen threads using traditional bookbinding methods.
Julie selects interestingly figured and grained wood for the covers ensuring that each book is unique.

Binding
These hand-made wooden notebooks feature solid oak covers and a leather spine. Inner pages are hand stitched with linen thread using traditional bookbinding techniques.
Paper Stock
Inner pages are 130gsm unlined paper with a 20% cotton content, this gives a perfect texture for drawing and writing.
Each book contains 80 pages.
Order Processing
The books are hand-made to order, and can take from 10 - 14 working days to make. Also please note that due to the natural materials used, the colour, texture and grain will vary.

We are currently offering FREE UK Delivery on ALL orders using Royal Mail 2nd Class Post. If you need your order sooner all our usual faster services will still be available including 1st class post and carrier.
